Blueberry Avocado Smoothie

The healthy fats in the avocado help your body absorb the fat-soluble anthocyanin antioxidants found in blueberries.

– 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries – 1/2 avocado, pitted and peeled – 1 banana, peeled and sliced – 1 cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice – 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional) – 1 tsp vanilla extract – Ice cubes

Ingredients:

1. Add the blueberries, avocado, banana, almond milk, honey/maple syrup, and vanilla to a blender. Blend on high for 1 minute until smooth. 2. Add a few ice cubes and blend again until creamy. 3. Pour into a glass and enjoy your antioxidant-rich blueberry smoothie!
